Join Ilbert the dragon at Pontefract Castle for a fun and friendly afternoon of storytelling and hands on play.
Each month help Ilbert and his storyteller bring their books to life through music, props and actions. Then get stuck in with activities, crafts, games and rhymes.
These sessions are a great way to spend time together and discover new ways of learning with your child!
Wednesday 6 May – Buzzing bees
Summer is coming and Ilbert’s busy bee friends are back. Listen to a summer story. Join in with some flowery fun.
Wednesday 1 July – Brilliant buildings
Build a castle, build it tall, make a great big stone wall! This month Ilbert is building castles and exploring materials with the Three Little Pigs.
Wednesday 2 September – Cooking at the castle
Cook up something magical with Ilbert! Get mixing and making, and create a fun fairytale craft to take home.
You can also do these sessions as part of 50 Things to do before you’re 5.
Take part and tick off #40 Happy History, #6 Rhyme Time, #7 Making Music and lots more!
Tickets £3 per child, accompanying adults free.
