The Drum and Rhythm Basics Workshop (DRB) is a three-hour interactive class. It is designed to enable anyone to participate in drum circles or join casual music-making on their drums. It is both fun and easily accessible, making it perfect for beginners and all others who seek a deeper understanding of the magic of communal music-making.

If you’ve always wanted to try drumming but have been too shy or unsure where to start, this class is the perfect opportunity to dive in! Info: Our music education does not include most of what I teach in this whole class. In this section, I ask a lot of questions to have participants discover what I call "Natural Music" and this keeps going for the entire class... even while we start to practice it.

Info: This is when we mostly play our drums and explore what grooving means and learn at least 1 simple groove well enough so that you will be able to keep playing it whenever you play with others.
