In 2006, Mr. Fakih purchased a struggling restaurant and built it into the fastest-growing Middle Eastern Halal food chain in North America. Today, Paramount Fine Foods operates more than 70 restaurants and butcher shops worldwide and continues to reshape the Halal food market.

Beyond business, Mr. Fakih is a committed philanthropist, UNHCR partner, and national advocate for refugee employment and anti-hate leadership. He has received the Order of Canada, an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, and numerous awards for his business and community contributions.

This session will explore how entrepreneurship can drive equity, purpose, and global impact.
