Performer Joan Català gathers an audience to build an incredible, large sound installation.Using his well-honed style of physical performance, Joan has created a unique performance with metal tubes that brings together the ideas of material, space and community.
Idiophones are musical instruments that produce sound from vibration. Prepare to join in and to eventually play this unique instrument. Playful, ingenious and funny, Joan Català has performed to thousands of people across Europe. Idiòfona is an attempt to find harmony in the middle of noise; to build a common vibration, but above all, an ode to the pleasure of sharing.
