Bere Regis Folk nights are back. The next one will be on the last Tuesday of the month as usual which is 30 September featuring:Nick Parker and Ben Wain
Nick started gigging in his early teens playing mandolin and singing in folk/rock/skiffle band ‘Why?’ In 2010 he embarked on a solo career and has since enjoyed over 40 tours around the UK and Europe, playing his own shows, but also supporting the likes of Levellers, Skinny Lister, Bright Eyes, Tom Robinson and Chris Difford among many others. His lyrics are often observational and occasionally humorous, but they can also hit you right in the feels when you least expect it.
For Bere Regis Folk Night, Nick is joined by fiddle player Ben Wain who adds texture, an incredibly infectious smile and an extra bit of diddliness to the occasion.
There will £5 CASH cover charge on the door to enable us to book such talented acts. The doors will open to The Skittle Alley, The Drax Arms, Bere Regis BH20 7HH at 7:30pm and the music starts at 8pm. If you wish to book a place then send an email to [email protected].
