Identifying Litter Hotspots on Blackpool Beach - FREE Youth Workshop

This workshop is the sixth in a series of sessions which are taking place as part of the 'Youth Empowerment for Local Climate Action in Blackpool' project.

This project is a collaboration between Boingboing Foundation and Lancashire Climate Action Network's Youth Organisation (LancsCAN Youth), to gain insight into young people's feelings on climate change and produce youth-led recommendations for local climate action.

During this session we will focus on the value of practical action, such as by using mapping techniques to identify litter hotspots on Blackpool beach. We will explore common types of litter present on the beach and turn our findings into recommendations for action.
