About this Event
Join us online or in person for the next gathering of The Third Place’s SHIFT BIPOC Media & Communications Network. This convening brings together BIPOC media makers and communications professionals to collaborate, shape authentic and accountable narratives of Maine’s BIPOC communities, and identify economic opportunities through collective work.
This gathering is for college students, creatives, business owners, and professionals working in or alongside media, marketing, and communications. It is especially relevant for videographers, podcasters, storytellers, journalists, and others seeking connection, collaboration, and economic opportunities within Maine’s media and communications ecosystem.
We will make space to surface collaboration needs, share pipeline ideas, and identify concrete next steps for strengthening this growing sector.
Come ready to share what you are working on, name the kinds of partners you are seeking, and help co-create a more connected and sustainable media and communications ecosystem that reflects our communities, voices, and visions.
Please check back for meeting agenda or email [email protected] for more information.
