International Chamber Music Festival / Contemporary Classical: The Harnsberger/Jones Duo is a marimba duo comprised of Andy Harnsberger and Caitlin Jones that is currently in demand across the U.S. They are proponents for the advancement of marimba repertoire, frequently perform new works for a variety of audiences, and love to perform in chamber music series to bring the marimba to the forefront of the classical music world.This concert will feature works specifically written for The Harnsberger/Jones Duo that they will be performing throughout their 2025-2026 tour and will feature all living composers that specialize in percussion writing (Gordon Stout, Andy Harnsberger, and Adam Silverman to name a few). The marimba is such a unique instrument, that audiences can’t help but be intrigued at each of their concerts. The music is highly energetic and always leaves audiences stunned!
