The Big Scoop Challenge at KDays 2026 🍦
Think you have what it takes to become Edmonton's ultimate ice cream champion?
Twice Cream and KDays are proud to present The Big Scoop Challenge, a live ice cream eating competition taking place at KDays on July 17, 2026. Contestants will race against the clock—and each other—for a chance to become the inaugural Big Scoop Champion and take home amazing prizes.
Whether you're competing for glory or cheering from the sidelines, this is one summer event you won't want to miss.
How It Works
- Register online to secure your spot.
- A $10 registration fee is required to enter.
- 100% of registration fees will be donated to the Edmonton Food Bank.
- If registrations exceed event capacity, qualifying rounds will be held at Twice Cream locations during the week leading up to KDays.
- During qualifying rounds, contestants will compete to finish a double scoop serving of ice cream as quickly as possible.
- The fastest qualifiers will advance to the Championship Event at KDays.
- All qualifying finalists will receive a complimentary KDays General Admission pass for July 17, 2026.
- Finalists will compete live at KDays by racing to finish a full pint of Twice Cream Classic Vanilla Ice Cream in the fastest time possible.

The Challenge
The Championship Round will put Edmonton's fastest ice cream eaters to the test. Contestants must finish an entire pint of Twice Cream Classic Vanilla ice cream using only a spoon. The fastest competitors will advance through the competition until one champion remains.

Important Information
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- All contestants must complete and sign an event waiver before competing.
- Qualifying rounds will only be held if registrations exceed available event capacity.
- Registration fees are non-refundable and will be donated to the Edmonton Food Bank.
- Qualified finalists will receive complimentary KDays General Admission for the Championship Event.
