IAT-Lille: Four-day workshop on gender and sexuality

🌸 As a facilitator, nothing is more important than the courage to examine our own sexuality and our narratives about gender. This allows us to approach, welcome, question, understand, and support our clients—ultimately enabling them to experience fulfillment and flourish in their sexuality. This requires a better understanding of oneself and others.
🌸The workshop will offer:
• Overview of GSERD issues: vocabulary, concepts, and clinical implications.
• Analysis of gender shame, its intergenerational roots, and its current societal relevance.
• Developing a therapeutic practice that affirms gender identities (gender-affirming approach).
• Concepts of intersexuality and trans identities: reference points, specificities, and support.
• Model of sexual development and the influence of sexual messages on the script and the feeling of normality.
• Body exploration: a guide to questioning, safety, boundaries, and consent.
• Identifying sexual needs and factors of satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
