I Made You A Mixtape

I Made You a Mixtape is a movement-led dance theatre experience set inside a 1990s college dorm party, where music replaces dialogue and performers respond physically in real time. Nine young women gather for one last night together before everything changes. What begins as a carefree evening of dancing and games unfolds into a nostalgic, funny, and deeply human exploration of friendship, identity, and growing up.

Created by the UK’s first Meisner-based movement theatre company, the show is built on a unique performance method where the music becomes the performers’ scene partner and the choreography becomes their text. This means no two performances are ever the same. Every show is lived, not repeated.

Expect a high-energy, immersive atmosphere filled with 90s hits, chaotic party games, improvised moments, and unexpectedly tender scenes that hit you right in the chest. One minute you’ll be laughing, the next you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to a memory you didn’t realise you still carried.

This is a show for anyone who has ever had a “last night” with people they love and wished they could go back.
