Join us to celebrate the 2026 publication of the fourth anthology of I Didn't Know There Were Latinos in Wisconsin, a collection of poems, short stories, and essays by Wisconsin-based writers and fellow travelers, brought together and edited by Oscar Mireles.
This anthology features primarily Latino writers who have not been published in the previous collections. The first three editions of the anthology have celebrated the work of nearly 100 Latino writers from Wisconsin.
As part of a series of readings across the state, we are excited to partner with Latinos Organizing for Understanding and Development (LOUD) and the Center for Visual Arts (CVA) for a Wausau-based reading. Several poets featured in the anthology will read their work from the new publication, and we will close out the evening with an open mic.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required.
