Hypnobirthing is a childbirth preparation method that uses self-hypnosis, deep relaxation, and breathing techniques to manage pain and fear during labour and delivery.
The idea is that by managing levels of stress hormones, you can give yourself the best chance of allowing the body's in-built system to set you up for a good birth.
