Come get your hands dirty and continue your cement adventure with another exciting morning of hypertufa, lightweight cement, and garden art! 🌿 This outdoor workshop is perfect for kids, families, beginners, gardeners, artists, DIY enthusiasts, and anyone who loves creating unique pieces for their garden.
✨ MAKE 3 PROJECTS:
🪴 1 Lightweight Hypertufa Planter
🌼 1 Flower Stepping Stone
🪨 1 Cement Fabric Planter
🎨 YOU WILL LEARN:
• How to mix and work with hypertufa and lightweight cement
• Proper cement mixing techniques for strength and durability
• How to create beautiful textures and professional finishes
• Decorative techniques using molds and fabric
• How to add color directly to your cement projects using cement pigments
• Rustic, aged, weathered, modern, or colorful finishes
• Proper curing techniques so your projects can last outdoors for decades
🌈 Cement pigments will be available, allowing you to customize your projects with beautiful colors. Once your projects have fully cured, you may also spray paint them at home if you'd like to add even more vibrant color or a custom finish.
✨ Already attended one of our Hypertufa Workshops? Join us again for just $25 and make one additional project! This is a great opportunity to continue building your garden collection while enjoying another fun morning with fellow cement lovers.
💧 IMPORTANT CURING:
Projects will remain at Jablon Studios covered in plastic for approximately 4 days to allow for slow curing and help prevent cracking. Projects must be picked up 4–5 days after class and then submerged in water at home for approximately 30 days to complete the curing process. Unfortunately, we do not have the space to soak everyone's projects at the studio. Proper curing is essential to ensure your projects remain strong and beautiful for many years.
☀️ This is an outdoor class! Please wear clothes you don't mind getting messy and bring sunscreen, water, a hat, and closed-toe shoes.
