Welcome to HRK9’s first July In-person Pack Walk! We will be walking approximately 1.6 miles, with the option to go further (or stop sooner if needed).
Grab your dog and join me at Delhi Metro Park in Ann Arbor, MI for a pack walk! Please note that a Huron-Clintons Metropark daily or annual pass is required to enter the park. We will meet at the East Delhi parking lot- see map in discussion tab). This park is only a 6 minute drive from Dexter-Huron Metropark, so anyone who wants to is welcome to drive over to that park for additional miles after we finish at Delhi!
*We will have our walk participant ribbons at this event! Ribbons will be a minimum donation of $2 per ribbon or 10 (mix and match) for $17 minimum donation. Donations will be accepted via PayPal or cash only at this time. We have 3 ribbon styles and you can get ribbons for past events you may have done too! Please remember our group rules:
-No aggressive dogs (or humans)
-Dogs must be on a 4-6ft lead
-No prong collars or e-collars
-No retractable or flexi leashes
-no children under 16 without a parent or guardian
If you aren’t local, you can still participate by tracking your walk or run on your own at a time convenient to you on this same day and sending the information per the below. To keep in the group spirit, try and walk at the same time as us!
Earning AKC FIT dog titles? This can count towards a group walk (category C) OR a community run (category B). Just make sure to track the distance and then send me (Amanda Loveday) a screenshot along with your dog's information. Please do this even if you come in person so that I don’t forget anyone.
