The Fourth of July Parade returns to Downtown Ann Arbor in 2024! Join us for a fun-filled morning, supporting the local community and honoring the celebration of our country’s independence.
The parade takes place on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 10 a.m.
Each year, the Ann Arbor Fourth of July Parade draws a crowd of thousands to witness the spectacular floats, bands, and individuals walking the streets to celebrate the independence of our nation.
Community members, government leaders, representatives, and government appointees lead and participate in the parade. In addition, community groups, clowns, bands, and children march in the parade. A grand marshal is selected and they will lead the parade after the beginning banner.
This year, we are proud to announce we will be collaborating with EPIC Races, to hold their Firecracker 5k in Downtown Ann Arbor! The race kicks off at 8AM, after a speedy hot dog eating contest! You won't want to miss the winners of this race celebrating with us in the parade!
