The Long Island Gay Men’s Chorus (LIGMC) is getting loud and proud this June with its “Rainbows of Pride” concert series!Performances are set for Sunday, June 14 (5:30 p.m., immediately following Long Island Pride) at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 12 Prospect St., Huntington; Friday, June 19 (8 p.m.) at the Take A Bow Playhouse; and Saturday, June 20 (8 p.m.) at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook, 380 Nicolls Road, Setauket/E. Setauket.
Tickets are $25 ($10 for individuals with valid student ID) and are available for purchase at the door or online at http://www.ligmc.org/concerts.
With approximately one month to go until showtime, LIGMC’s members are continuing to hone their craft on an array of coming-out anthems, songs associated with LGBTQ+ pride, and selections focused on the colors of the rainbow.
