This hunter education program led by Conservation staff introduces students to several life-long skills important for many different types of outdoor recreational opportunities. If you want to obtain an Iowa hunting license and you were born after January 1, 1972, it is mandatory to complete hunter education training once you reach the age of 16. Attendance at all classes is necessary to receive certification.
