Humphrey - children's book launch

You’re Invited to meet Humphrey!

This is a free event - just come along ... I'll be doing a reading and there will be activities for the little ones... plus a chance to see the original "Humphrey".

After 43 years, a little story written by a nine-year-old girl is finally stepping out into the world…

Join me on 27th June to celebrate the launch of “Where There’s a Wheel There’s a Way” a story ideal for young readers.

This story has been part of our family for generations - read, loved, and passed down, and now Humphrey the tortoise has had a well-deserved glow up and is ready to meet you.

This launch means more to me than I can put into words. After battling cancer twice, being able to share this moment feels incredibly special.

Even more meaningful, a portion of every book sale will be donated to the Dragonfly Cancer Trust, a wonderful charity supporting young people and their families. The dragonfly is a symbol of hope… and you’ll find one hidden on every page of the book for readers to discover.

A story of resilience, hope, and finding your way - no matter how long it takes.

And because no proper celebration is complete without a little treat…
Each child will receive a gift
Cheese and nibbles for the grown-ups
Snacks to keep the little ones happy
