Hui chun qigong回春气功 – Introduction
One full day immersion with Magnus Minghetti is a re-treat for life. I have asked Magnus to visit my beautiful dojo at Frederiksberg to teach a special Daoist longevity qigong form that I personally am very interested in. As a student this day you will get his transmission.
ABOUT
Hui chun qigong is a very old Daoist qigong form, and it literally means “returning to spring energy work”, spring in this case is a metaphor for youth. It was developed to get youthful energy and vitality back into your body and mind in order to boost your health and longevity.
Closely connected to your breathing, the form will help you get rid of blockages and imbalances leading to a better flow of energy and blood throughout your body. It improves breathing, massages the intestines for better performance, helps with coordination, balance, muscle and tendon strengthening etc.
This form will leave you with a sense of well-being and a lingering feeling of happiness, which is one of the most important things in Daoist thought since it will lead to a long and healthy life.
Magnus Minghetti, a resident of Sweden, has been practicing martial arts and East Asian energy practices for 40 years, and is currently studying and teaching the Daoist arts of Xuanwupai and Jiang style Bagua zhang. He also has a long history with the Japanese art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, which also has a lot of internal practices.
