A Christmas market is being planned in St George’s Square to celebrate the Huddersfield Christmas lights switch-on.Kirklees Council has announced that the event and lights switch-on will take place on Saturday November 18 (12noon-7pm).
The council is inviting makers, bakers, artists, creators, doers, foodies, crafters, designers, suppliers, florists, sculptors, jewellers, printers, painters, authors and producers to get in touch if they want a stall.
The council is promising an exciting family fun day to kick-start the festive season with a Christmas market to showcase the best of Yorkshire.
There will be festive entertainment, food and drink and a main stage with live music acts, as part of Kirklees Year of Music 2023.
