Coming straight to us from their week at Cowan Creek Mountain Music School:We're very excited to host multi-instrumentalist and Grammy award nominee Hubby Jenkins for the first time - you may know him from the Carolina Chocolate Drops or as a member of Rhiannon Giddens’ band! His dynamic solo performance shares his love and knowledge of old-time American music, following the thread of African American history that has woven itself through America's traditional music forms.
Norma Jean Haynes is a banjo player and folk singer based in Western Massachusetts. Her beautiful songwriting, singing, and banjo-playing had us all mesmerized last year and we're thrilled to have her back in the Rebel Rebel room!
$10 cover fee, $5 for students
Doors at 6pm, Music at 730pm
