Hub City Barber Expo 2025

Hub City Barber Expo 2025 is back and better than ever! Join us at Rodeo 4 for a full day celebrating the craft and culture of barbering.

This year’s expo will feature barber battles across multiple categories: Fast Taper, Creeps & Clippers (Halloween-themed barber battle), Tag Team, Unlicensed Barber (first place wins free tuition at Trendz Barber Academy), and Master Barber.

There will also be a free Halloween Costume Contest with two divisions: Kids and Adults. This contest is not a barbering competition—just a chance to show off your best Halloween look. Prizes will be awarded for creativity and execution.

Expect 20+ local vendors showcasing barber tools, products, and services, plus a live DJ keeping the energy high throughout the day. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to learn, network, and connect with barbers from across the city.

Competition rules for barber battles: Each competitor may bring one model (model enters free). Competitors must bring their own tools, products, and supplies. Only a barber chair and mirror will be provided. Judging criteria vary by category but focus on speed, creativity, execution, and overall finish.
