How to Read Music in One Hour | NYC Music Workshop
About this Event
How to Read Music in One Hour
Reading music can feel like decoding a secret language. We make it easier to start.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basic building blocks of written music in a clear, practical way. We’ll slow the page down, remove the intimidation, and help you understand what you’re looking at.
You do not need prior experience. You do not need to be “good” at theory. Just bring yourself.
You’ll leave with
- A clearer understanding of notes, rhythm, and basic music symbols
- A worksheet you can keep practicing with
- More confidence looking at sheet music
- A simple first step toward future musicianship classes
Best for
Beginners, returning musicians, singers, actors, creatives, and anyone who has ever looked at sheet music and thought, “I should understand this, but I don’t.”
