How to Paint Water in Watercolor Series

Learn beginning and advanced watercolor techniques from an experienced instructor. You'll leave each class with a finished project. Appropriate for beginners and experienced watercolorists.

From the gentle still waters of a pond to the turbulent white-water waves of a stormy sea you will have the opportunity to paint each water subject and learn to create movement and sparkle.
Sketches will be provided, so no drawing skills are required and these classes are for every level of painter, from absolute beginner to advanced. A variety of different techniques will be taught in each class

Still water on a Lily Pond
A calm pond scene with lotus flowers and floating lily pads will be painted with transparent watercolors.
Wednesday, March 12th 12pm - 3pm
Gentle Rolling Ocean Waves
An early morning ocean scene with gentle rolling waves coming ashore.
Wednesday, March 19th 12pm - 3pm
Swift Moving Hillside Waterfall
The movement over the rocks and boulders of the hillside will create the excitement of this splashing waterfall scene.
Wednesday, March 26th 12pm - 3pm
Powerful Crashing Wave
This stormy sea recreation will give us an exciting wave that is fun and easy to paint.

Please arrive 5 minutes early, class will start on time. All class reservations must be paid in advance and cannot be cancelled or changed less than 72 hours prior to class. Sorry, no exceptions.
