How to make the most of Homewise: Update in person
About this Event
Join Low Carbon Hub and CAG Network for a workshop with Sam Randle, Corporate Climate Officer at Oxfordshire County Council, on how to engage with home energy efficiency, by getting the most from the Homewise tool.
Please bring your laptop or device as we’ll each be trying out the tool so we know how it works and can feel confident in promoting it in our communities.
Not sure where to start with home energy improvements? The Homewise tool is a great way to engage your community on which energy saving initiatives might be right for their home and their budget.
Sam will take us through how to use Homewise and we’ll then have a go ourselves and see if we can create a free, personalised energy improvement plan based on our home energy needs in minutes! We’ll be assisted by our friends at the Environmental Sustainability Team at Oxford City Council.
What is Homewise?
Homewise is a tool created by Energy Saving Trust that can generate a tailored home energy improvement plan based on your home, lifestyle, and budget. It will show you which energy efficiency improvements and renewable technologies could boost your energy efficiency and cut your bills.
It could be a great tool to have at stalls at a community event.
