How To Get Your Music Heard in 2025

Throughout this three event mini series of workshops, Rich Hearn of Amplyfr and Humans And Other Animals will be guiding you through the daunting world of music promotion in 2025 and beyond.

In workshop one, on Tuesday 28th January, Rich will take you through the essentials of building a brand with your music.

Workshop two, on Tuesday 4th February, will focus on music marketing and music promotion.

In the third and final workshop, on Tuesday 11th February, Rich will teach you the tips and tricks of how to get your music heard.

All three workshops take place at the Philip Astley Centre in Newcastle under Lyme, 6pm-9pm.

All three workshops are free to attend, but please be sure book your place on each event!

Rich began as a self-releasing artist in 2008, later joining bands and working as a sound designer. Dissatisfied, he transitioned to marketing, founding Humans & Other Animals, Amplifyr, and the not-for-profit CIC, Indie Music Matters, to support artists in Staffordshire & the West Midlands. He's collaborated with notable acts like Gang of Four, IDLES, Warpaint, Gary Newman, The Dandy Warhols, and Flea & John Frusciante

Honey Box Hive is a new project which is aimed at the development of local musicians, gathering vital information in the music industry of Staffordshire to determine what people feel they need most in order to progress their careers in the industry.

There will be a number of free workshops and panels, delivered by industry professionals, with the objecIve being to provide the tools and knowledge required. The project will also be offering new opportunities to aspiring sound and lighing engineers, as well as presenting opportunities on the Honey Box.
