Leeds based singer/songwriter and guitarist Eve Buckley combines a rich hybrid of alternative-soul and jazz infused pop. Capturing the tapestry of notions that arise through young adulthood, her timeless vocals and sentimental soundscapes are reminiscent of her inspirations including Lianne La Havas, Jordan Rakei and Yazmin Lacey.
Meeting producer Alex Williams at University in Leeds marked the beginning of a unique collaboration to create Eve’s authentic recorded sound rooted in elegant writing and luscious production. Her debut singles have received airplay from BBC Introducing, making her their ‘Artist of the Week’, and Jazz FM, with ‘Peace of Mind’ becoming Tony Minvielle’s ‘Featured Track’. 'Big Shot' was also claimed by Dead Good music to be 'one of the boldest singles' heard this year.
Her all-consuming storytelling and distinctive voice have captivated audiences across Leeds and the UK, supporting the likes of Rosie Frater Taylor, Children of Zeus and landing slots at Live at Leeds In The City and London Jazz Festival.
