How to Carry What Can't Be Fixed Grief Retreat (in-person)
Drawing on wisdom from Megan Devine's breakout book, “It's OK That You're Not OK: Meeting Grief and Loss in a Culture That Doesn't Understand” and subsequent journal, “How to Carry What Can't Be Fixed,” this retreat offers a compassionate and gentle space for those experiencing grief. Together, we will explore ways to honor grief, release unrealistic expectations about "moving on" and discover practices that help us carry what cannot be fixed. Through reflection, discussion and quiet time, participants will be invited to meet themselves with greater kindness, understanding and hope.
Reading the book ahead of time is helpful but not required. Each participant will receive a free copy of the journal.
