How to Buy a Home - and When You Should Rent

Financial education is important in all stages of life. Understanding the reasons to buy a home, and/or when you should rent, are critical to your financial well-being, as this is one of your most expensive purchases ever and a mistake here can affect you for years to come. It's never too early to develop good saving and spending habits!

DATE/TIME: Friday, 22 May from 1130-1300 PST

LOCATION: Either virtual (your personal computer, laptop or cellphone) or in person at MCRD San Diego, Bldg 14 classroom.

Once registered, you will get a follow-up email the day before the event with instructions on how to join the seminar along with some handouts. Registration will end at 1600 PST on Thursday, 21 May. If you wish to register after this deadline, please contact the number listed below.

This is a free seminar open to all who are interested, including family members DOD Civilians, veterans, and retirees. However, if you are planning to attend in-person you must have base access and proper identification.
