Taught by therapists Ruth Bryan and Alyx Steadman, How to Be Ethically Non‑Monogamous is a one‑day workshop for people who want to begin or deepen their practice of ethical non‑monogamy. The class is therapeutically informed and draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, IFS/parts work, the Wheel of Consent, somatic practices, and contemporary thinking about attachment and polyamory. The structure is designed to balance cognitive learning, experiential practice, and personal reflection. Ethical non‑monogamy asks for clarity, emotional honesty, and the ability to stay connected even when big feelings arise — this workshop helps you build the foundation to do that with confidence and care.
This class may be for you if you want to:
- expand your relationship(s) to include a new or deeper dimension of ethical non‑monogamy
- understand why past attempts at ENM felt overwhelming, confusing, or didn’t go the way you hoped
- strengthen your communication around desire, boundaries, and expectations
- clarify your relational patterns — especially what happens for you during conflict or activation
- build deeper empathy for the fears, hopes, and needs that show up in yourself and your partners
- feel more grounded and normalize the emotional experiences and practices common to ethical non‑monogamy
