Learn how water crossing, boardwalks, and temporary walkways are designed and built by the Norwood Trails Advisory Committee, with a focus on the Meadow Street and Vanderbilt Street locations along the banks of the Neponset River. These locations have recently been completed, and the work has more than doubled the size of the trail systems in those areas.
Members of the NATC will share stories and photos of the process of building these crossings, boardwalks, and walkways, as well as highlight how these upgrades to the trail systems benefit the Norwood community.
Registration is required for this in-person program; please sign up by clicking on the "tickets" link below, or by visiting or calling the Reference Desk at 781-769-0200 x2. Thank you to NCM for helping this program reach a wider audience.
