A 3-day intensive, practical course to help you build confidence in your MLD skills and deepen your understanding of the science behind them.
Are you certified in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) but not fully confident in using it? You’re not alone. Many therapists complete an MLD certification course but walk away unsure of how to apply it effectively in practice. Whether your original training left gaps, didn’t provide enough hands-on time, or just didn’t “stick,” this 3-day intensive is designed to meet you where you left off.
The MLD Refresher & Skills Builder is a comprehensive, real-world training experience that helps certified MLD therapists refine their techniques, deepen their understanding of lymphatic anatomy and function, and build clinical confidence.
With a strong balance of theory, Q & A and hands-on work, this course revisits the foundational Vodder techniques while expanding into current clinical applications for managing general edema, chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, fibromyalgia, and detoxification.
You’ll work in small groups, receiving direct instructor feedback as you reestablish your flow, pressure, and precision. This course emphasizes the realities of modern practice—including how to apply MLD safely with clients who have complex medical histories, post-surgical needs, or overlapping pathologies. Time is built in for open Q&A, peer collaboration, and discussion of real-life cases—whether they’re challenges you’ve faced, or sessions you’ve declined due to uncertainty.
We’ll also address how to distinguish legitimate MLD from misleading social media trends, and how to communicate clearly with clients about what MLD can and cannot do. From clinical sequencing to advanced draping considerations, you'll walk away with not just a refreshed technique—but a renewed understanding of how MLD fits into your practice with integrity and impact.
This course is open to licensed massage therapists or lymphedema specialists who have already completed a recognized MLD certification program (HH, ACOLS, Klose, Vodder, Norton, etc.).
It is approved by NCBTMB for 24 continuing education hours - Check YOUR State
Tuition is $995.
Full and partial scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis for group classes.
