Housing Clinic: Economics of Housing & Best Practices in Housing Production

Our next step with East Lansing's 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update is this Housing Clinic. We seek to establish a shared understanding of the opportunities and limitations in the current marketplace to address local and regional housing needs for low income, moderate income, and middle income households.

Join us at East Lansing's Hannah Community Center to learn all about the current state of the housing market, understand resources that are available to offset housing costs for seniors, students, and the local workforce, and how to best prioritize different housing types and price points.

This event will put us on a strong track towards the right housing mix in East Lansing. It will include technical details but is designed to be accessible to anyone wishing to better understand this important issue. The housing clinic is free and open to the public, but advance registration is requested. Thank you!
