This training will bring together a panel of experts from city and county planning departments who will share insights on local socioeconomic data, housing trends, and transportation systems shaping our region.
Participants will gain a stronger understanding of how income levels and socioeconomic factors impact residents across our community. The session will also break down complex housing and transportation policies into clear, actionable concepts that candidates can confidently speak to on the campaign trail.
We will explore practical policy ideas that can be implemented at the local and state level, even in the face of preemption. Candidates will also learn how to navigate concerns around gentrification and not in my backyard sentiments by using data-driven messaging that resonates with voters and reflects community needs.
This training is ideal for candidates, campaign staff, and community leaders who want to build informed, people-centered campaigns rooted in real data and thoughtful policy.
