Our first community forum brought together people deeply concerned about the growing housing and homelessness crisis in our region. Together, we identified practical short-term responses and longer-term solutions.Since then, community members have begun taking action, from exploring safe sleeping spaces and emergency support options to advocating for longer-term housing solutions.
This next forum is an opportunity to come back together, share progress and continue building practical community-led responses.
This is not about politics, it’s about people.
Everyone is welcome, including community members, service providers, faith groups, local organisations - everyone who wants to be part of practical solutions.
Bring your ideas, your skills and your willingness to help. We are looking forward to a community response to a community crisis.
No one in our community should be left without safe shelter.
