Join us for a comprehensive three-day training program designed to equip you with the skills to teach Hot Pilates—a dynamic, low-impact, high-vibe class grounded in Pilates principles, functional movement, and empowering beliefs. Upon graduation, you'll be ready to lead public classes at True North Yoga. This training is for anyone interested in teaching Pilates including yoga teachers, fitness and movement teachers, specialty group fitness and more. Everyone is welcome!
What You Will Learn:
Hot Pilates features intentional and creative sequences that strengthen the entire core (beyond just the superficial abs), enhance stability, mobility, and breath, and deepen the mind-to-muscle connection. Our classes aim to align postural muscles and foster a profound connection to the body. The goal is for students to leave each class feeling stronger, taller, and reconnected.
Class Details:
Hot Pilates is conducted at 100°F in a heated room, promoting improved circulation, detoxification, recovery, and lymphatic health.
Learn the following:
Instruction on Randee's Hot Pilates Method which combines pilates principles, functional movement, mobility, and alignment
Instruction on how to sequence using low-impact, effective movements
How to use verbal cues effectively and with music
Practice teaching the core Hot Pilates class (and having fun!)
Class creation and innovation, teaching modifications
How to deliver alignment cues at a rhythmic pace
How to create a meaningful and sacred space for empowerment and reconnection with the body
Playlists and choreography
Authentic voice
Trauma-informed guidance and adjustments
How to be an effective and inspiring instructor
Experience and Confidence:
Immediately upon certification, you'll start teaching Free Community Classes at True North Yoga. This hands-on experience is designed to build your confidence and teaching skills from day one. We’re here to support you every step of the way!
