Join us in the historic farmyard to learn all about horseradish! After a frost is the best time to harvest this root vegetable. After meeting in the Historic Farmhouse, we'll head to the Heirloom Garden to learn how horseradish grows and how to harvest it. Then, we'll head back into the Farmhouse to learn how to prepare it, while enjoying hot apple cider and a horseradish appetizer. This workshop is free and family friendly! We'll also have jars of horseradish available to take home for a suggested donation. Date: Saturday, December 7th, 1 - 3 pm
