Calling all freaks! Do you love to read disgusting, spine-tingling horror novels whose plots you can’t describe in polite company? Join Bond House Books on the third Wednesday of every month for thoughtful book discussions in horror-loving community.
Next month we’ll be meeting to discuss Hungerstone by Kat Dunn. In this seductive reimagining of the classic vampire novel Carmilla, the wife of a steel tycoon becomes enraptured with the sickly young woman who keeps her company on the lonely British moors. Their twisted companionship makes explicit the queer longing that often goes unsaid in our favorite vampire stories, paired with a healthy dose of mysterious deaths and bloodlust.
