Let’s fire up the horno, or outdoor adobe oven, at Fort Selden Historic Site in Radium Springs, New Mexico, on Sat., Nov. 22, 10 a.m. - noon for Horno Thanksgiving! Join us as we demonstrate how to fire and bake fresh bread in an adobe horno. Bread was also a staple food for the soldiers stationed at Fort Selden. We invite you to break bread with us in honor of Thanksgiving. Cooking outdoors is contingent on weather and fire restrictions.Workshop is included with admission of $5/adult and free to children 16 and younger, NM Disabled Veterans, NM foster families, and MNMF members.
