This Thanksgiving at FIT4MOM, let's give back to our Las Cruces community!Bring some canned goods to Stroller Barre on Weds., Nov. 19 and we'll use them as weights for the workout, then put together some boxes to donate to Casa de Peregrinos!
The most needed canned food items are:
- Canned cranberries
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Canned yams
- Pumpkin pie filling
- Geen beans
- Corn
- or really anything you have in your pantry!
Founded in 1979, Casa de Peregrinos or “House of Pilgrims” operates as an emergency food pantry that focuses on serving Doña Ana county. In 2018, they distributed 3,502,980 pounds of food, making it the largest emergency food pantry in New Mexico.
