Kick off the 2024 Green in the City event series with the Hope and Action Climate Change Festival! On September 21st from 10 am - 4 pm, join us at Fanshawe Conservation Area to raise awareness and inspire action on climate change. Together, we can foster hope for a brighter, sustainable future!
Look forward to:
- Tours of Fanshawe Dam (registration is full but we will accept a limited amount of walk-in traffic)
- Tours of the LEED-certified Watershed Conservation Centre (10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm)
- Interactive exhibits, games, and activities
- Live birds of prey shows (10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm)
- London Police Service boat and amphibious vehicle
- Test ride e-bikes with London Bicycle Cafe
- Food trucks (bring cash!): Rosies Streetery, Rocky Mountain Pizza, Taste of Lebanon, Triniman, The Donut Diva Ice Cream Truck

Transportation:
Ditch the car and hitch a ride on London Transit! Free bus rides to and from the festival will be available with pick-up/drop-off locations at Argyle Mall (accessible bus terminal) and Western Fair (off Rectory).
At the festival, bus stops will be located at the day-use area of Fanshawe Conservation Area and the Fanshawe Pioneer Village (accessible location).
Western Fair pick-up times: 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm
Argyle Mall pick-up times: 9:45 am, 10:45 am, 11:45 am, 12:45 pm, 1:45 pm, 2:45 pm
Festival pick-up/drop-off times: 9:58 am, 10:58 am, 11:58 am, 12:58 pm, 1:58 pm, 2:58 pm, 3:58 pm

Entry to Fanshawe Conservation Area is free as part of Doors Open London!
