A Children’s Grief Painting Workshop
Grief can be difficult for children to put into words. Sometimes, creativity gives them another way to express what they are feeling, remember someone special, and stay connected to the person they love.
Circle of Life invites children in Kindergarten–8th Grade to a special grief painting workshop on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00–11:30 a.m. at our Bentonville location.
During the workshop, each child will create a unique painting featuring two owls—a larger owl representing the person they have lost and a smaller owl representing themselves. Through painting, children will have an opportunity to express their feelings, share memories, and honor someone who continues to hold a special place in their heart.
No painting experience is needed, and all materials will be provided at no cost.
