We are back after a year hiatus!
Come down to get some free basic repairs done by local volunteers! Bike repairs, sewing, blade sharpening, jewellery repair and general handy repairs will be offered, along with some outdoor activities to keep you busy while you wait.
While this event is free, we do ask for you to donate to Hoon Hay Food Bank in lieu of any payment or koha to us or the volunteers. We will accept any non-perishable food for them.
Our previous repair cafes were very popular, so please do plan accordingly and prepare for any wait times. Please stay on site as we can't take responsibility for any missing items. You will also be required to sign a waiver when having your items repaired. If possible, try to bring any parts that are needed to fix your item, in case our volunteers don't have the right ones.
This event is somewhat weather dependent - we can run a smaller /more limited version in the rain, so keep an eye out here for updates!
