Honoring Our Ancestors

Join us in sacred community as we come together to honor the wisdom and spirits of our ancestors. In the ancient Mexica tradition, we will create a beautiful altar – an ofrenda –filled with love and offerings to pay homage to those who came before us. Let the fragrance of cempasúchil and cinnamon tea fill the air as we gather to share stories of our ancestors, bringing their memory to life through our voices and hearts.

Together, we will play music, sing songs, and offer prayers, weaving a bridge between past and future generations. As we honor the grief that accompanies loss, we also celebrate the vibrant legacy of life, knowing that the wisdom of our ancestors is the flame that lights the path forward for our children, their children, and so on.

May we hold their stories close, and may our voices carry the prayers of love, healing, and strength. Let us celebrate the cycle of life and remember that through our connection to them, we continue to guide and protect future generations. Erica P. Sandoval, LCSW, Founder and CEO of Siembra Today, will open this community offering.

Andrea Bertucci, an international yoga teacher and cacao facilitator initiated in the Mayan tradition. Andrea carries with her the wisdom of yoga, sound healing, and cacao circles, honoring the Mayan lunar calendar in her service of cacao. Her teachings are a reminder of our connection to the cosmic spirit, as she helps us align with the nourishing power of the universe through breath, movement, and intention.

Stephanie Citlalli practices as a gentle creative and healing artist. She is of service as a psycho spiritual therapist, Rose and energy worker, and art therapist. Stephanie holds intimate space for the mind and spirit. She continues her studies with great honor in Curanderismo and sacred Indigenous wisdoms, and maintains her behavioral science and mental health licensure.

Remaining dedicated to her own journey and personal healing, Stephanie is honored to support and guide you on your path. Stephanie is of Yucatec Maya, Mexica lineages and has received blessings from her Maestra Rita Navarette to offer blessings with the sacred Rose. She is currently under guidance and supports the voices of beloved elders Irma Star SpiritTurtle woman and Nana Marina Cruz.

Sandra Castillo, a Mexican Medicine Woman steeped in the teachings of Shipibo Elder Damian Pacaya and Mexica wisdom keepers Yolanda and Lupita. Certified in Reiki and sound healing, Sandra weaves together sound, ceremony, and plant medicine to awaken the sacred bond between ourselves and Mother Earth.

Graciela Basher Is a liberation activator, ritual artist, yogi, Indigenous advocate and sacred sacrament ceremonialist. Her mission is for humanity to remember their original divinity and to awaken and activate their gifts from within. She provides ancient tools, practices, and sacraments that can assist in this remembrance and activation, such as channeled readings, Reiki, Kundalini yoga, breath work, intutive body work, light language activations, and intuitive ritual body and canvas art.

Que el aroma del té de cempasúchil y canela llene el aire mientras nos juntamos para compartir historias de nuestros antepasados, trayendo su memoria a la vida a través de nuestras voces y corazones.

Celebremos el ciclo de la vida y recordemos que, a través de nuestra conexión con ellos, continuamos guiando y protegiendo a las futuras generaciones.
