Honor Our Veterans

For the first time in our community's history, American flags will be placed on the graves of veterans in the Locust Grove Cemetery and Shoal Creek Cemetery. Join us as we come together to honor the men and women who served our nation with courage and sacrifice on October 24 at 10 am.
This meaningful event will begin at Locust Grove Cemetery with a brief service and a blessing of the flags, led by Pastor Michael Price of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Local community leaders, such as Councilwoman Sherrin Henderson Duncan, will be in attendance.
Whether you're a veteran, have a loved one who served, or simply want to show your gratitude, we invite you to be part of this special morning of remembrance.
Together, let's ensure that every flag placed is a visible reminder that their service is remembered, their sacrifice is honored, and their legacy lives on.
