Be a part of the Homesteading Huntsville Hands-On Workshops at the Walker County Storm Shelter from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM on the following dates:

January 17, 2025: FRUITS— fruit tree and bush planting, rainwater harvesting, and water bath canning.

February 21, 2025: VEGGIE— veggie planting guide, composting, raised bed gardening, and fermenting.

March 21, 2025: POULTRY— poultry selection, coop building, incubating eggs, pressure canning, and cottage food law.

April 11, 2025: SMALL RUMINANTS— small ruminant selection, building pens, milking, feeding regimens, laundry detergents, and cheeses.

May 16, 2025: WILDLIFE—feral hog management, trapping nuisance wildlife, and meal prepping.

$200 for all 5 workshops
