Homeschoolers visit the Hays Home at Matson Hill Park before taking a 3-mile moderately strenuous hike on the Hays Trail to learn about the family’s history and their connections to the land. This program is for ages 8 and up who have some experience on natural surface trails. Participants should bring snacks, a water bottle, wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
