Homeschool Carpentry Workshop Spring 2025

Join us for an Introductory Carpentry Workshop designed for homeschool students! In this hands-on session, professionals from Kinco Constructors will guide participants in small groups to build wooden planters. This project will allow them to learn essential carpentry skills, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing. Under expert guidance, students will gain experience using hand tools safely and discover the practical applications of woodworking. This engaging workshop provides a fun introduction to construction and the skilled trades—no prior experience needed!

The Associated Builders & Contractors of Arkansas is a non-profit trade association that offers education, safety training, professional development, business development, and much more to companies in the commercial and industrial construction industry. We also work with various student and community groups to expose them to craft skills and educate them on careers in construction.

Workshop Details:

Date: Tuesday, April 22, 2025

Session One: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Open to any homeschool students ages 8 - 12.

Session Two: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Open to any homeschool students ages 13 - 18.

Cost: $45 per person

Session Max: 30
