Winter can be a hard time for birds to survive. The lack of insects and other food sources means that birds are more likely to visit feeders. Bird feeders are also a great way for you to get to know the birds in your yard. Join Ranger Clare to learn how to provide food for our feathered friends and see how feeding birds can contribute to science. We will also make a fun holiday gift for the birds.
This program is part of our monthly Birding Club for ages 6-12. New participants will receive a birding journal to keep track of their visits to the park and the birds observed.
We will meet at the Bluebird Barn at 1:00 pm. Please dress for the weather.
